I’ve had a few people ask me questions about brands in China. Most assume everyone here uses Li-Ning and nothing else. While many Chinese people do like Li-Ning, everyone has their own preferences.
So one night at club play I asked my fellow club members which brands they liked the most. Everyone I asked is upper-intermediate to expert level players, and have been playing for…well, I’m not sure but I’d guess at least more than 10 years. Several of the players interviewed are college kids, one is my coach, and one is another coach who owns his own badminton shop. All of them play 3-4 nights every week with the majority of them playing 6 nights a week. Basically, these are heavy players who know the game and play a lot. So I figured the best people to ask.
